How old do I need to be to drive campervan or motorhome?

Do I need a special license?
No. drivers require a full clean
Is insurance included?
Comprehensive insurance is included subject to a £500 excess. It means the first £500 of any damage would be down to you.
What is the security deposit ?
To collect the vehicle you would have to pay a £500 securtity deposit. This would be refunded in full provided you return the vehicle on time, in condition collected, waste/wc tanks emptied, clean inerior.
Where do we find sites to stopover?
We recommend you book sites for stopovers in advance, well in advance in holiday times.
Always ask for a level pitch with electric hook up. The links page has some links to websites which advertise sites all over the UK.
Where can I empty the motorhome waste and wc tanks?
At motorhome/caravan park (and most campsites). The night before you return the vehicle just make sure you are on a site with the facilities and within driving distance for your return time.
I have never used a campervan motorhome, is that OK?
Yes. We go through everything with you before you drive away into the sunset.
Are bedding, linen included?
Bedding and linen is included for the motorhome fixed double bed.
For the VW campers mattress protector, sheet, duvet and cover are provided for the double bed, you need to bring own bedding (e.g. sleeping bags) for children.
Can I leave my car at Tarn Outdoor Centre when I collect the vehicle?
Yes, there is allocated parking space. It would be under your own insurance, we would accept no liability for loss, theft or damage.
How far from the M6 is the collection point?
About 12 miles or 15-20 minutes from M6 junction 37
How can pay?
Payment for the booking can be by cheque or bank transfer. The £500 returnable security deposit must be payed in cleared funds before collection, the security depost can be pais cash on collection.
